In 2004, my family and I found ourselves in Saratoga Springs by chance, and little did I know how deeply I would come to love this city. Initially, my two oldest children attended schools in Lehi. However, as soon as an elementary school was built in our area of Saratoga Springs, I eagerly seized the opportunity to volunteer.
Over the years, I wore various hats, serving as a room mom, PTA president for both the local and council levels for a total of 8 years, school community council, booster president for the basketball and tennis teams, and proudly supported the band as a band mom at Westlake High School.
For approximately 25 years, I dedicated myself to working as a Data Quality Specialist for our family business. In 2018, I decided it was time for a change and embarked on a new journey. I went back to college and graduated from Utah Valley University with a degree in Business and Marketing Education. Since then, I've been fortunate to explore two rewarding career paths, working as both a teacher and a digital marketer, and I've enjoyed every moment in both roles.
Four years ago, an exciting opportunity crossed my path when I learned about an opening on the Planning Commission. Recognizing that I would be a good fit, I applied for the position. In December of 2019, I was appointed to the commission, and I've wholeheartedly enjoyed the privilege of serving my city in this capacity ever since.
